In these tumultuous times, many of us feel the call to respond and take action in our community and beyond. But what is the best way to make a difference? How do we decide where to direct our activist energy?
All are welcome at this FREE training by Jessica Stewart, Logan Perkins, and Larry Dansinger (donations for the trainers are welcome but not required). Join us to learn about legal risks and strategies, safety tips, letter and media campaigns, peaceful protesting, affinity groups, and other important information for effective nonviolent action and resistance.
Kids are welcome, but we would appreciate the presence of a supervising adult. Teens are encouraged to attend! We will have some snacks, but please plan to bring a lunch if you desire.
To register, please email: ibgraction at gmail.com <mailto:ibgraction at gmail.com>
Questions? Larry Dansinger, (207) 262-3706 or larryd at myfairpoint.net <mailto:larryd at myfairpoint.net>
