[Peacectr_list] Dixie Chicks film postponed to December 23rd

The forecast for Sunday night  December l6th is
Winds gusting past 45 mph; cold with heavy snow; sleet and freezing 
rain mixed in early.

For this reason we are   postponing the showing of "Shut up and Sing! 
" from this Sunday, the l6th  until next Sunday evening the 23rd at 
7:00 p.m.   We hope you will join us then!

"Shut Up and Sing" will be shown Sunday, December 23rd at 7:00 p.m. 
at the Peace & Justice Center of Eastern Maine, l70 Park Street, 
Bangor.  The showing is free and open to the public and will be 
followed by a discussion.

"Shut Up and Sing" by two-time Academy Award-winning documentary 
filmmaker Barbara Kopple and Cecilia Peck, chronicles the lives of 
the Dixie Chicks from 2003, starting with "the incident" criticizing 
George Bush, to the start of their 2006 tour.
